A Flash Mob is defined as "a group of people who appear from out of nowhere, to perfom predetermined actions, designed to amuse and confuse surrounding people. The group performs these actions for a short amount of time before quickly dispersing."
'Bollywood For A Cause' is creating a series of Bollywood Flash Mobs throughout the year. Our intention is to build a viral interest based on constant and consistent Bollywood dance appearances throughout the city. Below are a few FAQ's that are essential for each event:
OH YES! As part of its commitment to community outreach through health and fitness, 'Austin Rowing Club' (ARC) is supporting Austin's own 'It's Bigger Than You' (IBTU) and its unique way of bringing awareness to global nutrition challenges.
Saturday July 31st, 2010, 7:30pm. Whole Foods Market, Food Court, 6th and Lamar
YES! We are going to meet at the Austin Rowing Club boathouse on 1 Trinity St (East 1st St) @5pm to rehearse the dance. We'll start to travel to the downtown location @6pm.
When we show up at the location, we'll mix-in, shop, and wander as if we were actual patrons. At 7:25pm, you will hear music that will signal you to start moving to the dance location. Then, at 7:30pm, the "Jai-Ho" music will start, we'll dance, and then quietly and quickly disperse.
